Uganda police arrest terror suspect

Ugandan police is in custody of a suspected terrorist only identified as Hussein. Hussein is one of the three suspects being hunted by the East African Countries.

According to the deputy spokesperson of police, Judith Nabakooba, Hussein and other two terrorists entered the country through the Busia and other borders targeting to hit Uganda for her role in Somalia.

The police last week published a photo of one of the three suspects who used Kalita bus to enter the country through the Busia border.

Police had earlier interrogated the driver and conductor of Kalita bus whom the police was told by a volunteer travelling on the same bus aided the terrorist to enter the country.

Nabakooba however, could not divulge more information about Hussein because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Police Counter Terrorism boss John Ndugutse called on the people to be vigilant and report any suspicious people in the communities.
