The Prime Minister of Somalia receives the Germany’s Minister of State for Development and Economic Cooperation

Mogadishu June 04, 2023 (QJ0 -The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, today received the Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, Jochwn Flasbarth, who visited his office to discuss strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister stated that the Somali Government is committed to enhancing the bilateral relationship with Germany and expressed gratitude for the various forms of support provided to Somalia, such as economic development, democratization efforts, reconstruction of liberated areas, and capacity building of the police force.

The Minister commended the progress made by the Somali Government and emphasized that the German Government is keen to continue working closely with the Somali Government, while further strengthening the extensive partnership between the two countries to support the country’s stabilization and socio-economic development.
