The least expensive marriage arrangement among somalis vs the most expensive wedding in history‏

A wedding is speculated to be the happiest day of a person’s life. A unique marriage  arrangement in history of Somalis regardless any part of the world was held in Hargeisa on last Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 . The question is what make this marriage as unique type

  1. It is was held in a Mosque and not in luxury hotel or well decorated house which normally marriages takes places. 2. There was exchange of money or gift of any sort as per the request of parent of the girl to be married. 3. There is was no group  of relatives that commonly happens repressing either side of the marriage arrangement attended the  event.

Only the pride has requested the permission to get married the daughter’s parent ( the groom) who is a religious sheikh ( Sheikh Ahmed Abdillahi) and the father willingly accepted the pride’s request on behalf of his daughter . 4. There was no meher money from the pride in favor of the daughter’s family as the request of the parent of the daughter. This acknowledged as least expensive marriage in the history of Somalis. only Seven religious scholars attended the marriage event in one of the mosques in Hargeisa and the names of these sheikhs are the following:

1. Sheikh Mohamed Adan

2. Sheikh Mohamed Ali Jama
3. Sheikh Almis sheikh Yahya
4. Sheikh Eisa Mohmoud
5. Sheikh Omar Mohamed Samatar.
6. Sheikh Mohamed Ali Bixi
7. Sheikh Awil Faatax Shire .

Now let us see the most expensive wedding in the history of the world.   At wedding recognized as  number in history  is the daughter of billionaire Laxmi Mittal, Vanisha and investment banker Amit Bhatia is recorded to be the most expensive wedding in history. They had married in 2004 in France, leading off with a 5 day celebration which hosted 1,000 guests, and had taken place at the 17th century Chateau Vaux le Vicomte and the Palace of Versailles. The sum of all total expenses of this fairytale wedding taken from Source (Guiness Book Of World Records) is stated to have cost the two $78 Million Dollars. I  am in the opinion that, the first marriage in which no money was exchanged  has more moral value in compare with the second marriage whereby almost 80 million US dollars was spent. However, it is the choice to those concerned the marriage to choice the type of marriage that they prefer.
