The 9th edition of the Borama’s most important Qur’anic event, Regional Qur’an Competition completed in Borama

Borama 18.July 2014 (SDN/QJ)- The regional coordinator of Ministry of Religion & Endorsement and Qur’an scholars attended the closing ceremony held at the Sh. Ali Jawhar Mosque.

Many reciters and memorizers from over 60 Madarah in the Borama city participated in the year’s Holy Qur’an competition.

The regional coordinator of Ministry of Religion && Endorsement highlighted the importance of this competition and he said “The annual competition is held to encourage the public to read the Holy Qur’an and to act upon the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.
During that occasion, the officials awarded different prizes to those who won the competition.

 

These Awards were established in order to encourage young Muslims to memorize and understand the Holy Quran, and to spread the Quranic values of peace and love.
