Somaliland’s Presidency Minister Hirsi Ali Creates a Blog to Communicate with the people

 

Hargeisa, June 14 2013 (SDN) —Somaliland’s minister of presidency Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan has created a new blog to communicate with the people. The blog lets people to communicate easily with the minister. A brief introduction posted by the minister to his new blog reads like this;

Hi and welcome to my blog. I believe communication is the back bone of all governmental activities. Two way communications will create the platform for the government to exchange information with its citizens. Too often misunderstanding occurs because of lack communication. Therefore, I would like to open the channels of communication by way of this blog. I will try to discuss current and important affairs as well as share information with the public. Equally I welcome feedback, comments and constructive criticism. Among other things, subjects of utmost interest to me and which I will discuss through this medium include Government achievements, Youth Unemployment, Foreign Investment and education. My hope is to establish and cultivate opportunities for consolidating our efforts in developing our country for ourselves, our children and future generations by advocating for our patriotism, sovereignty and providing a transparent platform for feedback.
