Somaliland’s Interior Minister embarks on working visit to Berbera

Berbera, July 13, 2013 (SDN) — Somaliland’s new interior minister Ali Mohamed Warande has on today embarked on a working visit to Berbera the capital of Sahil Region. The visit afforded interior minister Ali Mohamed Warande an opportunity to inspect projects that Berbera local government is implementing in the port city of Berbera. The minister accompanied by top interior ministry officials toured the port, police stations and the bases of Somaliland’s Coastal Guards. During the visit Interior minister urged security forces to remain vigilant and to consolidate the security of the community.
