Somaliland: Vice-President Returns Home

Berbera 31.May (SDN) Somaliland Vice-president, Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail Zaylici, returned to country from the United Kingdom where he attended ceremonies markingthe 22th anniversary of Somaliland’s reinstatement of independence from the rest of Somalia in 1991.

At Berbera’s International Airport, the Vice -president received welcoming greetings from the Presidency Minister, Hirsi Haji Ali, marine resource Minister Abdilahi Jama Osman “Geeljire” and Sahil region officials. Vice president Zaylici who spoke to press in Berbera international airport said that he is very happy to return home after attending 18 May celebrations in the UK. Planning Minister Dr Sa’ad Ali Shire who included vice president Zaylici’s delegation said while speaking to the press that they had met with Belgium parliamentarians and presented to them the development Somaliland has achieved since its inception in 1991.
