Somaliland: Vice-President Inaugurates Modern Slaughterhouse in Buroa-(Video)
Buroa, 29 Nov 2013 (SDN) -Somaliland’s Vice-President Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail “Zaylici” has on yesterday inaugurated a modern slaughter house completed at a cost of $1.7 million Dollar in Buroa. Togdher region officials, Ministers of agriculture and livestock and a large number of citizens participated the inaugural function of the slaughter house which was completed in a record period of 18 months.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Buroa’s modern slaughter house, the Vice-President thanked United Nation’s Food and Agricultural Organzation (FAO) for funding the project.
This is the second slaughter house implemented in the country for the last 22 years of Somaliland existence.
