Hargeisa 13 Jan 2014 (SDN) – Recognized for its valuable contribution in the tour, travel and hospitality sectors of Somaliland, Safari Travel Tour and Culture (STTC) was honoured with the prestigious title of “Somaliland’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator and Destination Management Company of 2013.
The award was given in a glittering ceremony held on last night at Ambassador Hotel, Hargeisa organized by Somaliland Development and Research Association (SODRA) to recognize the exceptional efforts made by government institutions, companies and individuals across the country, including, visitor attractions and tour operators.
The event was marked with the presence of First Lady Amina-Waris, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire, Minister of Finance Abdiaziz Mohamed Samale, government officials, parliamentarians and several renowned names from Somaliland businessmen as well as Mayors of Gabiley and Berbera.
