Somaliland: President Silanyo Travels to Ethiopia for Talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister -(Audio)

Hargeisa, 10 Jan 2014 (SDN) –Somaliland President Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo has on today left the country for an official visit to neighboring Ethiopia. President Silanyo told media in Hargeisa’s Egal international airport prior his departure that he received an invitation from the Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn.

President Silanyo did not disclose the agenda of his visit and what the two sides will discuss but also underlined Somaliland’s historical ties with Ethiopia and various areas the two countries cooperate together including security, trade, education and people to people relations.
