Somaliland: Borama has organized intensive campaigns of poisoining stray dogs

BORAMA—–Borama City Hall announced that it has organized intensive campaigns against stray animals which resulted in the extermination of large number of stray dogs in Borama which pause health and safety threat to the residents.
Borama authority kills stray dogs on Saturday, the opening day of a campaign to cull dog packs roaming the the provincial capital of Awdal. Veterinarians have called on local Hall city to stop poising and killings stray dogs in Borama. The campaign started Saturday in Borama and will move to all parts of the city.
Under the former local city halls used to poison and kill stray dogs but after the campaign ended, the number of dogs started to grow which paused a threat to children and residents as well.
