SNA and local forces destroyed Al Shabaab bases in Hiiraan

Mogadishu September 15, 2022 (SD) –  Somalia National Army, Danab Military Special Unit carried out operations targeting Al-Shabaab base in Buq-Aqable, last night in Hiiraan region

Gen. Odawaa Yusuf Raage, the commander of the army, who spoke to Somali National News Agency said, that during the operation, 18 of Al-Shabaab fighters were killed, destroying their base located in Buq-Aqable, 90 km South of Beledweyne, Hiiraan region.

Information hasn’t been released by Al-Shabaab group where another strategic bases have been destroyed, in Buq-Aqable area where they use to plan and organize attacks and explosions in parts of Hiiraan region

This operations attacks conducted by Somalia national Army is coming at a time when the war against Al-Shabaab is perpetually increasing, backed up by the Local Community Forces who are fully, motivationally invested in the fight against the extremist’s group.
