Livestock Carrier Burns at Berbera Port-(Video)

Berbera, Aug 18, 2013 (SDN) —Fire gutted a Syrian-flagged livestock carrier today, while approaches to Berbera port.  Berbera port officials said that the fire broke out in the lower deck of the livestock carrier, which was carrying grass for feeding the livestock.  Berbera port officials also said that there are no casualties except one crew whose sustained light injuries during the fire. Somaliland Coast Guard deployed boats for firefighting.
