Israeli forces fire on civilians in Gaza
Gaza March 05, 2024 (QJ) -Yesterday, Israeli forces once again opened fire on Palestinian civilians in Gaza as they gathered to receive humanitarian aid in the southern part of the city.
The Gaza media office said in a statement that Israel’s attacks demonstrate their unwillingness to improve living conditions and alleviate the suffering and hardship of Gaza’s residents.
The exact number of casualties from the incident has not been confirmed.
This is the second time Israeli forces have attacked civilians at the main food distribution site, with the latest incident occurring on Wednesday when the IDF fired into a crowd of about 5,000 people who had gathered for aid distribution, resulting in the deaths of more than 120 people.
Israel’s siege of Gaza, which began in October 2023, has so far claimed the lives of at least 30,534 people and injured 71,920 others, most of whom are women and children.
