Israel response to the killing of Aid Workers
Tel Aviv April 03, 2024 (QJ) -The spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister said on Tuesday that the country takes responsibility for its actions, as she addressed the killing of seven aid workers in Gaza.
Tal Heinrich noted that Israel is still awaiting the results of the investigation into the incident.
Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi expressed regret for the airstrikes that killed seven aid workers in Gaza, describing it as “an error resulting from false information provided to the military.” He called for an inquiry into the incident.
US President Joe Biden stated that he was deeply troubled by the killing of humanitarian workers, emphasizing that Israel should not be allowed to act with impunity and must protect civilians.
