Israel and Hezbollah exchange strikes
Beirut August 18, 2024(QJ) -An airstrike claimed by Israel targeted the city of Hula in the Marjeyoun district, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).
In a separate incident, a second attack struck the Beit Lif area, also located in southern Lebanon, as reported by NNA.
Earlier, it was reported that the armed group Hezbollah launched a retaliatory attack, firing rockets into northern Israel. The attack triggered air raid sirens, though it reportedly did not cause significant damage in areas near the Lebanese border.
This attack follows a statement from the Lebanese militant group claiming that their forces had targeted the Israeli Raheb military post with direct artillery fire.
This incident is part of a series of attacks carried out by Hezbollah today.
