Horn Cable TV Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

Hargeisa 29.May (SDN) -Somaliland’s trailblazing news TV Horn Cable has celebrated today a decade of bringing stories of triumph, resilience and tragedy to a national audience. The country’s longest-running news and current affairs TV has survived tough times to become a beacon of broadcasting in a country where TV broadcasting is rare. Since its beginnings, HCTV has kept its promise of providing its viewers with valuable and qualitative news and entertainment for horn of Africa viewers. In a well-organized ceremony held in Mansoor hotel and attended by the Somaliland president Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo, members of cabinet, parliamentarians, and staff of Horn Cable tv, Farhan Haji Ali, founder and owner has said that HCTV emerged as the TV that delivers responsible content and has inspired generations in the Horn of africa. President Silanyo who also spoke at the ceremony said that HCTV is the pioneer of digital TV broadcasting in the country and in the horn of Africa in general.
