Hezbollah shoots down an Israeli spy Balloon

LEBONAN -The Hezbollah has announced yesterday that they intercepted a surveillance balloon sent by Israel to gather information.

The balloon reportedly targeted the airspace controlled by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
A statement from Hezbollah indicated that they shot down the balloon and shelled the base the Balloon was launched from.

The statement also mentioned that the equipment was destroyed and confirmed casualties and injuries among those working at the base.

Reports indicate that the balloon was launched from the Israeli settlement of Adamit to monitor Hezbollah’s activities.

On the other hand, an Israeli military spokesperson confirmed that the balloon was theirs and it was shot down during the operation, causing it to crash within Lebanese territory.
