Dubai ruler receives world’s first all-new Range Rover

Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has become the first person in the world to receive the all-new Range Rover.

The world’s first all-aluminium Range Rover was delivered to Sheikh Mohammed with his signature ‘DUBAI 1’ license plate.

A second vehicle with the license plate DUBAI 11 was also handed over to his son and crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

Phil Popham, Director, Group Sales Operations, Jaguar Land Rover said: “This is a great honour for Land Rover, and we are delighted that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has taken delivery of the first new Range Rover globally.”
