Dahabshiil Bank flip flops on Attack and prosecution of Media

London July 24,2012(SDN)-Dahabshiil Bank has released yet another statement regarding a recent reported attack on their servers by hacktivists group Anonymous in which the group holds customer info hostage.

In the latest statement Dahabshiil claims that attack did not happen yet condemns the act.

” Following the early stages of our on-going investigation, we can inform you that the original claims of a significant and sizeable breach of customer data were wildly exaggerated” the Bank said in an statement directed at customers.

Yet Dahabshiil follows that with”We wholeheartedly condemn this illegal and reckless activity and any abuse of the privacy of hardworking, responsible individuals,we are working with the relevant authorities to identify these groups and take legal action against their selfish acts”.

Dahabshiil previously vowed to prosecute the online sites that published the Anonymous attack on their severs,but in their latest statement they do not seem so eager,stating that there is “on-going investigation”.

The Anonymous Hacktivist group claimed that the Bank has links with extremist groups and is affiliated with Al Qaeda,and their champagne against the Bank is part of their war on Terror.

Dahabshiil dismissed that claim and calls the allegation are based on a false information.
