Chinese Business Delegation Visits Somaliland

Hargeisa, 14 Nov 2013 (SDN) -Some of China’s wealthiest entrepreneurs have arrived in the country on Wednesday as part of a two week long trip to explore investment opportunities in the country.  Upon arrival the Chinese entrepreneurs received the red carpet treatment at Egal international airport.  Somaliland’s minister of industry Abib Diriye Nur who received the Chinese investors said that the visiting delegation will implement light and heavy industries in the country.The head of the delegation from the Afro China Commerce Industry Group David Chin has said that they will establish industries that will produce bikes, electronics and beverages for young kids. During their stay the Chinese investors will visit the different regions of the country and will meet with Somaliland president Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo.
