Buroa: Anti-Terror Police Arrest Four in Anti-Terrorism Raids

Buroa, Aug 21, 2013 (SDN) -Four people suspected of having links with Al Shabab militants were arrested in a series of raids in Buroa, the capital of Togdher region on Tuesday night, officials said today. Togdher region police chief Brigadier Ahmed Abdirahman Hassan told reporters today that four people suspected of having links with Al Shabab militiants have been transferred to Hargeisa for questioning
Brigadier Ahmed also urged people to work with police in order to keep up the pressure in particular on Al Shabab militants. According to Somaliland law, the suspects can be held for questioning for three days before being charged or released.
