Body of Missing Minneapolis Teen Found in River

Minnesota SDN-The body of a young man missing from Minneapolis’ Cedar-Riverside neighbourhood was found two days ago in the Mississippi river. Hassan Aden has been missing since April 23^rd 2012 when he got off the school bus at a location other than his usual stop. He was last seen entering a condo building not far from his home.

The family of the 18 year old say law enforcement officials were not helpful in the search for the missing young man who speculated that he may have left the country to join militants in his homeland. Although there was no evidence that he left the country the search for the missing man was continued by community members who searched the area where he was last seen.

No word yet as to the cause of death of the athetic student who’s death and disappearance have raised questions of discrimination and profiling among Minneapolis’ Somali community who believe that the investigation should have been more comprehensive.
