Ahmed Madoobe visits Addis since 2019

Addis Ababa April 28, 2023 (QJ) – The president of the Jubbaland regional state of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, who is currently in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, held a meeting today with some Somali Ethiopian Government officials. Among the officials that Ahmed Madoobe met were the deputy chairman of the Barwaaqo Party, Aadan Farax, the Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide, and the president of the Somali region of Ethiopia, Mustafa Muxumed Cumar. According to Jubbaland State media sources, the purpose of President Madoobe’s visit to Ethiopia is related to improving relations with Addis Ababa and holding security talks with officials of that country, especially top military commanders.
