Tarawih Prayers in Hargeisa’s Ali Matan Mosque Transmitted LIVE by SLNTV

Hargeisa, July 13, 2013 (SDN) —Somaliland National Television made a history by succeeding to transmit for the people of Somaliland and all over the world the Tarawih Prayer in Ali Matan Mosque live in the first time of the history of Somaliland.

“Starting from Friday night, Somaliland National Television will continue to directly transmit Tarawih Prayers of Ali Matan Mosque live to the people of Somaliland. It is the first time in the history of Somaliland and in the horn region that a television broadcasted Tarawih prayers of holy month of Ramadan live.” Somaliland National Television Manager Mr. Khadar Ali Gas confirmed to us.

The manager added that the achievement of this step is efforts made by SLNTV Staffs and said, “Thanks to God. I have an appreciation and gratitude for the staff of SLNTV who paid restless efforts to make this happen.”

This historic achievement made by the National Television is pointed out to be a restless efforts and the hard work made by the current manager of SLNTV Mr. Khadar Gas who by hue and cry eventually succeeded to implement this historic achievement that the Somali people where ever they are can watch live Tarawih Prayers in Ali Matan mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
