Hargeisa: Woman stabbed to death by unknown assailants

Hargeisa, June 18, 2013 (SDN) –– A woman was allegedly murdered in cold blood by unknown assailants at Jigjiga yar village in Hargeisa last night. The slain woman was said to have been murdered moments after she had descended the bus. She was said to have been stabbed several times on the lower part of her right breast, causing her to bleed to death. Her body has been deposited at Hargeisa central Hospital for autopsy as police intensify investigations to bring the perpetrators to book.Reliable sources have told Somalia diaspora that the woman was the niece of Somaliland’s legendary poet Mohamed Ibrahim Warsame Hadraawi.

The slain woman is the second woman to be murdered by unknown assailants in Hargeisa after a woman in mid-thirties was murdered in Hargeisa six days ago by unknown assailants.
