President Silanyo Meets With University Students

Hargeisa May 14, 2013 (SDN) –Somaliland’s President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo has met with students of five different Universities earlier today in Maansoor Hotel, Hargeisa. During the meeting president Silanyo was accompanied by five of his cabinet ministers namely, minister of presidency Hirsi Hajji Ali, minister of sports and culture, Ali Saed Raygal, minister of foreign affairs Dr. Mohamed Abdilahi Omer, and the deputy information minister Abdilahi Cukuse.  During the meeting, the presidents of Alpha, Golis, New Generation, Hargeisa and Admas universities briefed the president about the current situation of their students. Also the union of university students awarded him president Silanyo an appreciation certificate. A brief statement issued by the presidency didn’t mention any speech that president Silanyo made during the meeting with university srudens, but it briefly stated that the president always uses an opportunity of communicating with the youth. His meetings with students are always interesting, as the President appreciates them a lot. Such meetings are usually characterized by friendly and trustful atmosphere. The participant stayed satisfied with each other and made many useful conclusions from the meeting.
