Power Sharing is the ultimate problem solving in Somaliland.

Power Sharing is the ultimate problem solving in Somaliland.

Power sharing is important for all Somalilanders, because it prevents a single person or a tribe to be more powerful.

Another approach to power sharing is more integrative, combining and coordinating.

Governance must be handled by leaders from each group or tribe who work jointly and cooperatively to make decisions and resolve conflicts. This approach relies on ethnically neutral decision making and public policies. Typically the electoral system will be structured to encourage multi-ethnic coalitions within the political system.

One must make sure that everyone represent to the political and economic stage

The benefits of power sharing are important because: It saves resources and fastens development. When power is shared for instance between groups it’s unlikely that corruption takes place

Somaliland would be a very different place if we could only eradicate the negativity of tribalism but before we eradicate let us do the basics and let us share everything. The problem is when I talk to the people who have some sort grievance, the first thing that they say or mention is that this tribe has this many ministers and this many directors so I am beginning to understand the root cause of our problem is power sharing. Therefore, I suggest the government to involve every tribe in to governance

I also suggest and believe that the solution for this problem requires the surrender to our religion, the religion rectifies all problems as we all aware.

Justice means giving others equal rights and treatment. In Islam, justice is also a moral virtue as well as the attribute of human personality, as it is the United Kingdom and in the western world as a whole. Justice is also close to equality in the sense that it creates state of equilibrium in the distribution of rights as well as duties.

God spoke to his Messenger in the following manner:

‘’ O my slaves, I have forbidden injustice for myself and forbade it also for you. So avoid been unjust to one another’’ (Saheeh Muslim)

Therefore, justice represents moral rectitude and fairness. It means things should be where they belong.

The Quran considers justice to be a supreme virtue. In fact it is a basic objective of islam to the degree that it stands next in order of priority to belief in God’s exclusive right to worship (tawheed) and the truth of Muhammad’s prophet hood. God says in the Quran.

‘’God commands justice and Fair dealing’’ (Quran 16:90). In another verse Allah says: ‘’O you believe, be upright for God, and be bearers of witness with justice’’ (Quran 5:8)

Muslims are commanded to be just to their friends and foes alike, and to be just at all level

Another quranic passage says: 4:135. O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.

5:42 And if you judge, judge with justice between them. Verily, Allah loves those who act justly.

4:105. Surely, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad ) the Book (this Qur’an) in truth that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you (i.e. has taught you through Divine Inspiration), so be not a pleader for the treacherous.

42:15. I am commanded to do justice among you, Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return.

6:115. And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

5:58. Verily! Allah commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.

5:8. O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.

I can write all day about the passages of Quran that talks about the justice

Somaliland needs to be one nation for our national interest, when the people are realised to be one, discord melts into concord, battles become dances, and old enemies become lovers. We are then in a position to make our country forward

Why did it take 30 years of injustice and violence in Somaliland and over 50 thousand deaths, if we cannot fix our problems now, the injustice?

To cure the symptom we must go to the root of the matter itself – Injustice.
