Somalidiasporanews Editor Dies of Gun Shot Wound

Mogadisho- Somalidisporanews’s Somalia news editor died of Gun shot wound after a week of treatment in a Mogadisho Hospital.

Mohamed Mohamud Tuuryare was one of  two Somali Journalist shot last week by unknown assailants.

Mohamed received about five gun shots on his upper body and was left for dead by group of unknown thugs.

Mohamed Tuuryare who also was a Reporter at Shabelle a popular radio station in Mogadisho loved reporting human stories the most.

He would often do exposes about the plight of the Somalia’s internally displaced peoples in Mogadisho.

Barkad Dahir the Cheif editor of somalidiasporanews.com remembers Mohamed’s dedication and hard work.

“Mohamed Tuuryare was fearless journalist who would do his job as though he was in a safe country,never showed fear,and never would get discouraged by the odds stacked against his countrymen”said Mr Dahir.

Mohamed would be missed by a lot of readers who came to rely his reporting,and have been sending condolences.

But Mohamed would be missed the most by his family and colleagues,may the good lord rest his soul in peace.
