Blast targets Youths in Mogadishu

Mogadishu September 14, 2024(QJ) -Many people have died in two landmine explosions that occurred this afternoon in the Kahda district of Mogadishu.

These explosions occurred on a road where young people often take photos.

The two explosions, separated by only a few minutes, were caused by landmines buried on the roadside.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing bodies scattered on the road and injured people being taken away by ambulances and motorized rickshaws (Bajaj).

The exact number of casualties from the explosions on the road in Kahda district is not yet known.

Somalia’s security forces arrived at the scene and have begun investigations into the incident.
