An Israeli airstrike in Rafah resulted in the deaths of 45 people in a tent camp
Gaza May 27, 2024 (QJ) -An Israeli airstrike in the city of Rafah has resulted in the deaths of dozens of Palestinians, prompting senior diplomats to express their dismay over the civilian casualties in southern Gaza.
The last airstrike caused a severe fire resulting in the deaths of 45 people in a tent camp, which has led to an international outcry. Global leaders urged the implementation of the International Court of Justice’s decision last week to halt Israel’s attack on Rafah.
The international community swiftly condemned the attack, with some of Israel’s closest allies joining the denunciation.
Israeli tanks continued shelling eastern and central parts of southern Gaza on Monday, killing eight people, according to local health officials.
More than 36,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli offensive, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, With Majority of them being Women and Children.
