Hamas: Israel killed Hostages and their guards
Gaza May 14, 2024 (QJ) -Israeli forces have intensified their bombings in parts of Gaza City, and they have also launched a strong assault on the city of Rafah, where many Palestinian civilians had previously fled.
A statement from Hamas announced that they had lost contact with a group of their fighters who were guarding some of the Israeli prisoners held by Hamas.
The spokesman for Hamas’ military wing, Al-Qasam, named Abu Ubaida, said that they had lost contact with a group of their forces who were specifically guarding four Israeli prisoners.
The spokesman said that brutal bombings by Israeli forces in recent days had caused them to lose contact with the fighters who were guarding the four Israeli prisoners.
The statement from Hamas has greatly distressed the families of the prisoners held by Hamas, and it is believed that the bombings killed the Hamas fighters who had lost contact and the prisoners they were guarding.
Among the prisoners presumed to have been killed in the bombing is Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who holds both Israeli and American citizenship. Hamas had previously released a video of Hersh, who had harshly criticized the Israeli Prime Minister, accusing him of neglect.
