Israeli forces inter Rafah

Tel Aviv May 07, 2024 (QJ) -A statement from Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has revealed that the War Cabinet has unanimously decided that military operations in Rafah would continue.

Israeli forces have announced they have launched attacks on 50 locations in Rafah, which are considered some of the most intense attacks Israel has carried out in recent days targeting the southern Gaza city of Rafah, where displaced Palestinians reside.

Israel’s attacks on Rafah come as Israeli media reports that Israeli air and ground forces have penetrated parts of Rafah, where they are conducting attacks, hours after Hamas agreed to a ceasefire deal.

According to senior Hamas political officials, the Israeli military operations in the southern Gaza city of Rafah will “turn it into a war zone”.
