Al-Shifa Hospital has completely unable to provide adequate medical care
Gaza November 12, 2023 (QJ) -The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudra, has stated that Al-Shifa Hospital has completely exhausted its capabilities and is unable to provide adequate medical care, especially for those suffering from injuries related to the ongoing military attacks by the Israeli forces.
He emphasized that children and other patients at the hospital have died in the past few hours due to the lack of necessary medications and equipment caused by the continuous attacks by the Israeli military.
He also mentioned that there have been five confirmed deaths among the injured, as medical teams struggled to treat them without the necessary supplies and electricity, which have been severely impacted by the ongoing hostilities.
On another note, at least 15 people were reported dead in an airstrike that targeted a refugee camp in Jabalia.
Journalists reporting from the southern Gaza Strip, specifically the Khan Younis area, revealed that Israeli forces launched a new attack on the Jabalia refugee camp, resulting in the death of at least 15 people and injuring several others. The wounded have been transported to the al Naasir Hospital.
The Jabalia refugee camp, located in the northern part of Gaza City and densely populated, has suffered repeated attacks, causing significant casualties among the residents.
