SNA and Southwest state forces fight in Barawe

Barawe June 14, 2023 (QJ)  -A fierce battle erupted yesterday in the city of Barawe, the capital of the Lower Shabelle in Southwestern State Administration, resulting in heavy casualties.

The conflict involved clashes between the forces of the Southwestern State and the military of the Federal Government.

The intense fighting, which involved the use of various weapons, caused significant destruction of property and loss of life among local residents.

At least 10 people have been confirmed dead in the clashes, while many others have sustained injuries. The casualties are believed to include both combatants and civilians caught in the crossfire.
