Galmudug discusses development with EU delegation

Mogadishu March 18, 2023 (QJ) – The Vice President of Galmudug State, Ali Dahir Eid, has met with senior officials from the European Union delegation in Somalia at the EU mission headquarters in Mogadishu.

The Vice President and the Director of Political Affairs of the European Union, Peter Wagner, discussed the implementation of EU-funded projects in Galmudug, such as the DEEGAN BILE, ILED, and other newly launched programs.

The meeting was attended by officials from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), which plays an important role in supporting the development of Galmudug’s regions.

The Galmudug State government delegation also included the Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, and officials from the Ministries of Women and Human Rights and Environment.
