UN to build an office in Dhusamareb

Dhusamareb Feb 11, 2023 (QJ) – Today, the President of Galmudug State, Ahmed Abdi Kariye (Qoor Qoor), has signed a land lease agreement with the United Nations office represented by the UN Deputy Special Representative for Somalia, Kiki Gbeho.

The signing ceremony of the agreement took place at the Galmudug Presidential Palace, attended by members of the Galmudug Cabinet, the Governor of the Galgaduud region, and the capital’s administration.

The President thanked the UN delegation for their visit and discussed the UN’s support for building a permanent office in Dhusamareeb.

Finally, the President of Galmudug and the UN Deputy Special Representative inspected a significant construction site aimed at developing Galmudug’s promising future.
