Condolences message to the family and children of our uncle, the beloved late, Jama Guure Mohamed
It is with great sadness,we are deeply sorry to hear about the death of our beloved uncle, the late Jama Guure. Death is always a time of great sorrow. We can’t begin to imagine how difficult this time must be for the family. We know late Jama Guure was a great man, husband, father, relative and friend and that this loss will leave a great hole in your life. Late Jama was merciful, compassionate, kind-hearted, sympathetic, helpful, supportive at difficult times, lovely and a fiends to all who know him. Jama was one the most valuable contributor for our community in UK. Our hearts go out to the family in their your time of sorrow. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts with Jama and your family during this difficult time. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Jama Guure death. Jama born in Hargisa in 1925 and passed away in London on September 29, 2014 which means Jama died at age of 89 years old.

Jama left behind him a mother and five children, three grills and two boys. Among the girls, Nadifia the author of three books. among the black mamba boy which is about her father Her father’s childhood journey across Africa, which begins in the Yemeni port city of Aden in 1935 where ten-year-old Jama loses his mother, his only emotional mooring in the world. After severe hardships, it appears that Jama has arrive UK in 1948. The book Black Mamba Boy was shortlisted by the e Guardian as the First Book award and won the 2010 Betty Trask prize from the Society of Authors. Nadifa Mohamed , who was named last year as one of Granta’s Best of Young British novelists, won the Betty Trask Prize and received numerous award.In a search for better life, late Jama had witnessed scenery of great human difficulties before he become a sailor in merchant ship in United Kingdom Nadifa second novel, The Orchard of Lost Souls, recently won the Somerset Maugham prize and has been long listed for the Dylan Thomas prize. Nadifa books commented for most of English newspapers such as the guardian, the telegraph the independent and network times from USA. We pray may Allah in his mercy grant Jama rest, may his grave be a part of Jannatul Firdaus and an abode of light. May Allah make him pass successfully in all the stages of the life after death?
