Somali-land Foreign Minister press release regarding Nicholas Kay talks with somaliland is totally untrustworthy

As our Somali-land Foreign Minister crossed all ethical lines and involves to every issue even if it is out of responsibility and focused only either to benefit financially like the  Berbera port deal with a French company and Hargeisa  new water project which he would like benefiting financially and stand and acting on behalf of his clan interest, situation have influenced many like me write what we know about his unprincipled activities that he involves in Somali-land to put in the picture to the people of Somaliland. Our foreign Minister involves Political corruption by using his official government position as foreign Minister to get illegitimate private gain and sometimes acts like an official representative of his inner clan. It is recognized that corruption is the major setback in Africa. So if our Foreign Minister who is understood to be financially sound being working over long time to united nations, what do we expect from very poor Somali-land tax collector on our market. With respect my main concern for today, first and foremost we have never accustomed from our  foreign minister hearing any reliable or truthful information from him. All what we know about him is engaging corruption, tribalism, and undiplomatic language while speaking and lacks any tips of diplomatic tone. What language should one use when speaking to diplomats, or what language should diplomats use and what is diplomatic language. It is about attaining professional objectives efficiently requires the use of language in particular ways. Sometimes, as in medical terminology and legalese, professions develop arcane lingoes peculiar to themselves, so peculiar in fact that laypeople may find them frustratingly opaque. The language of diplomats may not appear to have diverged that far from the common vernacular. It too, however, reflects the objectives of its users .

Diplomatic can mean using tact and conciliation, especially in stressful situations,  Hence, any words used to prevent embarrassment, calm angry parties, avoid provocation, or in any other way to ease discomfort or anxiety would qualify as diplomatic language. Diplomatic language is any language used in diplomacy to advance the ends of diplomacy, what it means can have broader scope. “Diplomacy” is the art and practice of conducting negotiations between nations. In fact, sometimes they may purposely generate stress to exploit an adversary’s weaknesses, promote a nation’s values, or question an organization’s legitimacy. Diplomatic language can legitimize or discredit controversial organizations. Taken above into consideration Somali-land foreign minister is short for all descriptions detailed above. Contrary Nations Special Representative for Somalia Nicholas Kay is very intelligent and well planned tactician and with his series of tactical exercises, Mr. Nicholas Kay can easily triumph over Somali-land authorities in view of his unchangeable experience of international affairs and in particular the hot spots in the world like east African and the lake regions bordering south Africa.

In addition to the above ,as all of us fully aware, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the Security Council decided on  May the 2nd , 2013 to establish the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) by 3 June for an initial period of 12 months, providing the United Nations “good offices” functions — and a range of strategic policy advice  in support of the Federal Government’s peace and reconciliation process and UNSOM’s headquarters are in Mogadishu with offices deployed across Somalia as requested by the Federal Government and as security conditions permit and according  UNSOM press statement, The mission already has a presence in Mogadishu, Hargeisa, Garowe and Baidoa while a presence will be established in Beletweyne taking into account security and logistical conditions. Therefore into consideration for the above, our requirement in Somali-land report to his office in Mogadishu. That is the reality despite its bitterness to some. With regard to our foreign minister, Mr. Bihi, he is presently preoccupied how alter the piping route with respect to Hargeisa new water project assisted by brotherly country (UAE) and the conflict generated the foreign minister is about to cancel the whole as a result of disagreement which Mr. Bihi is main foundation of the heated discussions. In that regard, he become a tribal spokesman rather than foreign minster.

Furthermore, Mr. Bihi is also preoccupied how rent Berbera port which is the life line of our people to a French company which he expects to get a commission out of the deal. In that regard, he involves political corruption by using his political position as foreign minster. While on visit to Egypt, Turkey and Djibouti, our foreign minister requested these countries to convince the Somali federal government recognizing Somali-land which means he admitted failure for his task. The question is will these countries will do diplomatic mission that our foreign ministers fail to accomplish. Without elaboration, the answer is known to everybody. In spite of above, I have noted many occurrences in which Mr. Bihi said “I Am clever, I am not sacred by any one and many undiplomatic language which I shame to write some of them.In conclusion, zooming all the information listed above, Somali-land public lose the trust and confidences for any political, social and economical statement from his end. Sometimes, he acts like speaking to children under the ten years of age. Consequently, president administration should look a replacement for his position before too late. The question if our  foreign minster crossed all ethical lines and lacks any successful quality to remain as  foreign minster, do we need him to remain in office?. I leave this question to be answered by the Somali-land public.
