To Silanyo clannsih mouth piece, aka Hussein Deyr
To fair minded Somalilanders, Hussein Deyr is known as a notorious clannish writer who painstakingly dwell on imaginary Silanyo achievements anytime a cabinet member hailing from the president clan is embroiled in a scandal.
Mind boggling enough, Mr Deyr contended that the aviation minister
was doing a masterful job when Mr Hashi hired an illiterate clansman moonlighting as security guard in the gulf to spearhead Kuwait 10 millions$ donation to upgrade Hargeisa airport
And when Mohamed Hashi left the cabinet to avoid being further associated to the crypto corrupted Silanyo adminstration, Mr Deyr took to the airwaves to attack the moral integrity of the former finance minister. The attack dog also smeared Mohamed Abdillahi when he resigned after pumping his tires for years and marvelling at his diplomatic achievements.
And now the clannish Silanyo mouthpiece is attacking Madasha Wadatashiga and Toosinta Qaranka. Because they simply tried to take the governemnt accountable to the population. We all remember Silanyo huffing and puffing where Dhegeweyne and co submitted 16 questions to the population. Instead of answering them, the ailing octogenarian played the tribe car and left to Burco to tell his clansmen that Hargeisa politicians were trying to overthrow him.
This cynical take no prisoner clannish attitude left Silanyo moral
autority in tatters and more imporantly is increasingly shatterring Somaliland unity. For example nobody takes the government seriously when they ask citizens to make room for Hargeisa airport widening or for the rearrangement of grazing lands in Aroori or Qoorcadey. Somalilanders had come to terms with the facts that, far from working for the general interest of the nation, this government is only hell bent on siphoning government coffers, handpicking who will get government contract and land grabbing all in the interest of SIlanyo tribe.
Maddasha Wadatashiga is only trying to stave off this doomed trajectory. It would have been easy for Hassan Guure, Dhagaweyne, Hassan Issa and Mohamed Hashi to go after plum positions or ministerial appoinments like Warancadde. Instead of lining up their pockets, they are standing up for Somaliland, in the same way they did 30 years ago
