Ministry of Health of Somaliland Conducted Two Days Human Resource Training to the Health Workers for Awdal Region
Borama 11.Jan 2014 (SDN)- Somaliland’s ministry of Health officers conducted two days human recourse improvement training to 35 participents from MCH officers of the Awdal region, Borama Regional Hospital and Analina TB hospital Administrators.
Dr. Abdirahman Jama Hadi Regional Health Officer for Awdal Region, spoke at the opening ceremony of this workshop and highlighted the importance of human resource upgrading to the health sector of the Awdal, also Dr. Abdirahman requested the participants to actively participate training days and digest its objectives in order to improve health sectors of the nation, particularly Awdal region.
Dr. Isse Abdi Jama the head of the Human Resoure and trainings of Ministry of Health spoke the occasion and said “the mandate of ministry of Health of Somaliland is the develop health workers of the nation to provide programs to orient, train and develop personnel by improving skills, knowledge, capabilities and competencies required to perform well on the job of the health sector.
This Human Resource training and development should be of such nature that it should oil the human resources machinery making it something that takes the health workers, on the other hand, the quality of employees and their development through training and education are major factors in determining long-term achievements of the Health sector of the region said Dr. Issa Abdi
