Somaliland: Alpha University College Celebrates the Graduation of the Second Batch–(Photos)

Hargeisa,Oct 02, 2013 (SDN) -Somaliland Vice President Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail Saylici was the guest of honor at a graduation ceremony held for 368 students, the second batch to graduate from the various faculties of Alpha University College held today at Maansoor Hotel in Hargeisa. Vice President Saylici speaking during the Graduation ceremony congratulated the graduates from the different faculties for successful completion of their various first-degree studies.

Vice President Saylici also lauded the graduating students for the hard work and diligence and that they are expected to become leaders in their communities and public services and capable of becoming fully competitive in all sectors and that they are the future of this country hence the need for them to be ingenious when it comes to employment, he also urged local enterprises to invest in local talents.

Alpha University faculties that graduated the 368 include Law, ICT, Computer science, MIS, Economics, Administration, Finance etc.

Interior Minister Ali Mohamed Waran’ade who also spoke at the ceremony informed on how pleased he was to attend such a big graduation ceremony in which 368 students received bachelor’s degree. He urged the graduates to utilize their newly acquired knowledge and skills in developing the nation.

Other speakers at the ceremony that saw a large number of participants included the Vice Chancellor of Alpha University Abdirahman Mohamed Maal and the mayor of Hargeisa.
