Buhodle Traditional Leaders Warn Puntland’s Intervention

Buhodle, Sep 28, 2013 (SDN) – Traditional leaders of Bohodle region have sent their support to the government of Somaliland, whereas they warned to Somalia’s puntland region for their aggressive intervention in the Sool and Buhodle regions.

Chiefs and cultural leaders of Buhodle community issued several articles which they have clearly confirmed their stance on Puntland’s interference to Sool and Buhodle as well as Khatumo who are organizing anti-peace activities in the region.

One of the chiefs declared this to Haatuf Media Network after their meeting in Buhodle district.

They have issued the following articles after several hours meeting inside Buhodle city:

1: We are sending warning message to Puntland region of Somalia not to intervene Sool and Buhodle territory and not to deploy their armed forces to the region;

2: To accomplish the efforts of Somaliland president’s call for peace talks;

3: To fully support Minister of Health’s development plan regarding Buhodle;

4: To unite and be against anyone who tries to disturb the peace agreement accord reached by Somaliland government and Saleban Esse Haglatoosiye, currently Health minister and;

5: Buhodle community to proceed the reached peace process accord.
