Kuwait donates ambulance to Somalia
Kuwait City, Aug 14, 2013 (SDN) — Kuwait Red Crescent Society has dispatched an equipped ambulance and six tons of dates by air to Somalia to help those in need for aid following wide-scale drought in the African nation.
The society said in a statement on Wednesday it dug water wells, last month, in Somalia to help the natives suffering from scarcity of water.
The ambulance and the dates will be delivered to a relief authority in Senak province.
The Red Crescent Society thanked the Ministry of Defense for providing a military aircraft to transport the aid.
