15 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza

Gaza December 24, 2023 (QJ) -The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that ten soldiers were killed in clashes that occurred in Gaza on Saturday, while five others were killed in other areas, bringing the total to fifteen casualties, marking one of the deadliest days for Israeli forces since the conflict began.

Of the ten soldiers killed on Saturday, five died in southern Gaza, four in the northern part of the region, and one soldier died in central according to a statement released by the IDF.

This brings the total number of Israeli soldiers killed in the Gaza conflict to 153, as reported by the IDF, although the actual casualties are believed to be higher.

Israel intensified its ground operations in both the southern and northern parts of the Gaza Strip, engaging in intense battles throughout the week, according to IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari.

The escalation of violence has resulted in increased casualties on both sides, with Israeli authorities reporting higher numbers of injuries and deaths. As of October 7th, a total of 20,258 people have been killed in Gaza, and 53,688 others have been injured, according to a statement from the Gaza Health Ministry.
