The tail of the bloodiest mass murderingin recent history (the Syrian genocide)‏

As reported from Reuters news agency more than 140,000 people, over 7,000 of them children, have been killed in Syria’s uprising-turned-civil war, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. The death toll is now at 140,041, according to the Observatory, which is based in Britain but has a network of activists across the country. Among the dead were 7,626 children and 5,064 women. The revolt against President Bashar al-Assad began as peaceful street protests but transformed into an armed insurgency after a fierce security force crackdown. It has since descended into a civil war with sectarian dimensions.

The Observatory’s toll could not be independently verified by Reuters. The United Nations  said last month it would stop updating its death count in Syria as dangerous conditions on the ground made estimates impossible to update with accuracy.The Observatory said all those cases included in its count were those it could document with either names and identification documents, or pictures and videos. It said the fate of tens of thousands more people remained unknown.”The Observatory would like to point out that these statistics do not include the fate of more than 180,000 people missing inside the regime’s prisons,” it said in a statement.“Nor does it include more than 7,000 detained by regime forces and armed groups loyal to it, or the hundreds of people kidnapped (by rebel groups) because they are believed to be regime loyalists. The Observatory called for an immediate ceasefire for the Geneva peace talks, now planned to go into a third round.

More than 3 million Syrians have fled their homes since the outbreak of civil war in March 2011, taking refuge in neighboring countries or within Syria itself. According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), about 2.1 million have fled to Syria’s immediate neighbours Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. Almost another 6 million were become internal refuges and that makes the total Syrian refuges almost 9 million (40 % of the total Syrian population, which is 22 million.

Iran and Syria close stargetyic allies and Iran has provided significant support for Syria in the Syrian civil war. This is said to include technical support, some combat troops, and $9bn in financial support. Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei was reported in September 2011 to be vocally in favour of the Syrian government. The Syrian city of Zabadani is vitally important to Assad and to Iran because, at least as late as June 2011, the city served as the Iranian revolutionary guards corps logistical hub for supplying Hezbollah in the civil uprising, phase of the civil war,, Iran was said to be providing Syria with financial, military and technical support ever since from the Syrian people uprising developed into the Syrian civil war.

The cold war which lasted over two decades ago appears to be re-birthed. a brief back ground of the cold is given below. Cold War was a sustained state of political and military tension between powers in the western bloc  (the united nations with NATO and others) and powers in the Eastern bloc (the soviet union and its and its allies in Warsaw pact Historians have not fully agreed on the dates, but 1947–1991 is common. It was “cold” because there was no large-scale fighting directly between the two sides, although there were major regional wars in Korea and Vietnam. The Cold War split the temporary wartime alliance against Nazi Germany leaving the USSR and the US as two superpowers with profound economic and political differences over capitalism and democracy. A deliberately neutral grouping arose with the non-aligned movement founded by Egypt, India and Yugoslavia this faction rejected association with either the US-led West or the Soviet-led East.

The international community failed to fitful the Purposes established for the United Nations, which are to maintain international peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and international law, adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;

To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace. To achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character, and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion; and to be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations in the attainment of these common ends.

After the fall of Shah and the success of Islamic revolutionary of Iran in 1979 under the Ayatollah Khomeini (founders of the Islamic Republican of Iran), millions of Muslims around the world have pleasured for the revolution, as a result of the removal of the oppressive regime of Mohammad Reza Shah of Iran in view of his close ties with Israel and secondly and his brutal techniques in which, he used to suppress the people with his secret police Savak to remain  power over the country indefinably. One of the by-products yet to remember at the beginning of the revolution is the switching of the Israeli Embassy into a Palestinian Embassy, which is cheered by Islamic world. However, situation is different at present as Iran is busy and engaged spreading shia influence in the region. Iran supported the removal of all Arab dictators with the exception of the mass murderer, Bashar Al Assad, purely on grounds that Syria is under a shite leadership.

 Bashar Al Assad was 36 years old at the time his father Hafez Assad had passed away in the year 2000 and as the constitution of the country articulate that, the age of the president must be not less than 40 years at the time of the nomination, however, the constitution of the country was deformed to suit the age of the Bashir Al-Asad, which was 36 as mentioned in the above. The Iranian leaders were have a high regard with the Egyptian people, who get rid of Husseni Mubarak, but he never look forward the same vision for the people of Syria in view of their connection with the regime, even though Bashar Al Assad is more merciless and brutal compare to Husseni Mubarak.

With regards to Bahrain, Iran promotes the uprising in Bahrain at the same time; they deny the rights of 85 % of Syrian people. They support a minor percentage of the Syrian people, who are holding both military and economy power of the country over decades. This is another motivation which validates that Iran regard as an ally for any dictator; so long the same is from same religious sect.

Iran’s political system based on Islamic principles composing of supreme leader, assembly of experts, the guardian council, the (majlis), however, Basher Assad recent interview with Russian English television said, that Syria is the only secular country in the region. That means Iran is friendly with a secular regime, even though they preaches Islamic principles,, however, Iran support. During the nonaligned summit in Tehran two years ago, The Ex Egyptian president has criticized the Syrian regime for their oppressive deeds against their people, but the Iranian viewers have heard the word Syria as Bahrain. Iranian state television Farsi translator has said that.

With regard Hezbollah of Lebanon, During Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 2006, millions of Muslims around the world felt pleased for the resistance demonstrated by Hezbollah against the invaders. However, at present the situation is diverse, as a result of Hezbollah siding and their militia is fighting along with the mass murderers of Syria Bashar Al Assad. After the invasion was broken, the Emir of Qatar made a visit to south Lebanon; a Hezbollah stronghold destroyed by the invasion and offered huge financial assistance to rebuild the destruction caused by Israeli invasion. Nowadays Hezbollah is not anymore cons considered as a resistance movement, but against the determination of the Syrian people. With regards to China policy towards Syria, until recently, China policy in the region won respect, but unfortunately, their direct support with the brutal regime, has completely altered their earlier image as a result of defending a brutal dictator.

 On the subject of the Russian policy towards Syria, at the time of cold war, the living standards of the Soviet people was exceptionally low in comparison with the present standard. However, presently Russia is one of the eight largest economies in the world. That was not likely to happen, unless driven out the old communist ideologists’ dictators. Thanks to the Ex-Russian president Boris Yelsin, who stand firm against communist ideologists Red Army Generals, who were resisting against the transformation to a new democratic system?

 Considering the above reality, the international community speculate why the Russian government shielding a dictator, who shares a similar ideology to those communist ideologist generals. Taken above deliberation, it is understandable that Russia supports for any dictator, so long, he advocates anti western slogans to win their blessings. Presently, Russia propose that, the western countries should obtain UN – security council approval prior any military attach to Syria just  to block any resolution to be voted for the Syrian crisis, despite the fact In April, 1978 Russia invaded Afghanistan with Red Army of 40,000 troop, overthrew and executed the President  Mohammed Daoud Khan. Soviet Union did not obtain UN prior invaded Afghanistan and there was no crisis in Afghanistan at the time of invasion, which may have influenced that invasion. Therefore, the Russia should look turn round their past olden times.

At the moment, the Russians are misleading the world family, a light evidence of such deceive practice is that, the Russian president, Putin on press release alleged that Syria did not use any chemical weapons attach even before the UN observers released their laboratory findings collective from the site in Syria as well as the people affected by the chemical attach. Taking into consideration their policy, the International community believe that, China and Russia are co-sponsors for crimes in Syria in view of their constant opposition for any Security Council resolutions to be voted, which may take decisive steps to save the defenceless people of Syria from a brutal regime. It has been authenticated that hundreds of thousands civilian victims were killed by artillery or mortar fire, others have been summarily executed.  President Basher AL-Assad forces fired heavy tank and rocket barrages at the cities and towns. Millions are refuges at their homes, as the possibility of escaping looks to be involves risks. We observe daily complete neighborhoods are shelved under the rubble.

 Human rights activists have condemned widespread violations by Syrian government forces. Soldiers acting under the highest level of authority have shot unarmed women and children, tortured wounded protesters in hospital beds and attacked civilian neighborhoods without according source. There is and consistent evidence of identifying high and mid-ranking members of the armed forces who ordered their subordinates to shoot at unarmed protesters killed soldiers, who refused to obey such orders, arrest persons without cause, mistreat detained persons and attack civilian neighborhoods with indiscriminate tanks and machine-gun fire.

We account daily bombardment in heavily densely populated areas carried out by the regime war planes, which is believably expected to defend the country from external aggression. There are reports, which indicate North Korean pilot were hired by the regime to carry out the air raids possibly due to the fear that Syrian pilots may defect with their planes, as happened many times earlier.The numbers of world massacres on records are almost 250 cases. However, in case of Syria, we witness one of the most horrible massacres noticed in the recent history. This  reminds us the Srebrenica massacre known as the Srebrenica genocide whereby more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslims, mainly men and boys, in the town of Serbrenica killed by units of the Serbian army under the command of general Ratko Mladic, who at present is waiting for trial under International criminal court in Hague. Thanks to ex-president bill Clinton, who influenced Nato to put into conclusion the sufferings in Bosnia and Kosovo.

Six months ago, the regime had used chemical weapon that caused indiscriminate slaughter of civilians, the killing of women and children and innocent bystanders, which took away the lives of 1,400 civilians in outpost in Damascus.It is shameful that the international community has done nothing to show that it will defend human rights,” are just looking on at this tragedy. The international community are just counting how much death toll added to the total number of the Syrian genocide every day. The world family must react very soon before eradication the whole Syrian people.
