While I was viewing some websites to acquire the latest news, I have noted news headlines which put in the picture that Kenyan authorities refused the Somali youth band Waayaha cusub to return back to Kenya that, they were originally came from prior travelling to Holland. Considering that circumstances, situation influenced feeling their distress and decided writing the following as moral support to express my solidarity to them . To begin with, this year (2014) 56 countries invited to take part world peace conference in Holland, Amsterdam which the new Somali youth band Waayaha Cusub. They are just fans of music; we are not fans of a specific kind of music. They just happen to be a rock band. Until we explain ourselves, sometimes people don’t understand why we limit ourselves to just being a rock band. It’s because that is what we. Throughout the years, music, song, and poetry have been created to spread the message of peace, hope, and love. Anti-war song is musical composition that either states anti-war r sentiments directly, one which the public and/or critics define as having an anti-war theme, or advocates universal peace. Some anti-war songs comment on the aspects of war, while others satirize war. Most promote peace, in some form or another, while others sing out against specific armed conflicts. Still others sing about the physical and psychological destruction that warfare causes to soldiers, innocent civilians, and the human race in general. Many of these songs are considered protest songs, and some have been embraced by various peace movements and peace activities some popular anti-war songs include. Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. Music can change the world because it can change people. Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy. For me, singing sad songs often has a way of healing a situation. It gets the hurt out in the open into the light, out of the darkness. International Day of Peace, sometimes unofficially known as World Peace Day, is observed annually on 21 September.

It is dedicated to world peace, and specifically the absence of war and violence, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in combat for humanitarian access. The day was first celebrated in 1982, and is kept by many nations, political groups, military groups, and peoples. In 2013, for the first time, the Day was dedicated by the secretary general of the United Nations to peace education, the key preventive means to reduce war sustainability. United Nations general assembly passed a resolution 36/76 in 1981 declared in a resolution sponsored by the United Kingdom and Costa Rica. The International Day of Peace, to be devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace. The date initially chosen was the regular opening day of the annual sessions of the General Assembly, the third Tuesday of September. Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. This anniversary offers a unique opportunity to reaffirm the United Nations commitment to the purposes and principles upon which the Organization was founded. The Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace recognizes that the promotion of peace is vital for the full enjoyment of all human rights. The United Nations invites all nations and people to honour a cessation of hostilities during the Day, and to otherwise commemorate the Day through education and public awareness on issues related to peace. Marking the event, the new Somali sing a song advocating the peace and against war and violence that captured the hearts and the minds of the audiences. Considering of the peace song, it is certainly that, this song voted as the best song in that peace event. The song finished words such as fight for your country to attain shared goal. Musicians have been singing out for peace for years and this band take a leading role to bring peace in Somalia. The sing expressions like give peace chance ,see that war is not the answer and, love can conquer hate. the band concluded the event fasten your belt to reach lasting peace. As music is the key to open gates made of steel, it is certain the songs played by this band have affected strongly the emotions for those participated. We all know that music expresses emotionally what we cannot express in words.
