The Consequence of Misguided or unevaluated decision making

A demonstration or street protest is action by a mass group or collection of groups of people in favor of a political other cause; it normally consists of walking in a mass march formation and either beginning with or meeting at a designated endpoint, or rally, to hear speakers. Actions such as blockades and sit-ins may also be referred to as demonstrations. Demonstrations can be nonviolent or violent depending. Demonstrations can be used to show a viewpoint (either positive or negative) regarding a public issue, especially relating to a perceived grievance or social injustice. A demonstration is usually considered more successful if more people participate. Topics of demonstrations often deal with political, economic, and social issues. Nonviolent demonstrations will turn to violent if over-reacted by the riot police as happened many times in Somali-land, which many instances result human loss.  To avoid all these unpredicted violence, we need evaluating before making any decisions. All of us have witnessed plenty of time whereby human loss have occurred as a result of demonstration. Taken this in consideration, the government should immediately come with up solution how tackle administration other than live bullet.

Hundreds of citizens were killed by riot police carrying live ammunition since we reclaimed independence in 1991.Law by definition is system of rules and guidelines which are enforced through social institutions beneficial to all society with no preference from each other.Law is a set of rules that people are made to follow by the country. Today in most countries, laws are written and voted on by groups of elected politicians in a legislative such as parliament.  The rule of law is the law which says that government can only legally use its power in a way the government and the people agree on. It limits the powers a government has, as agreed in a country’s constitution. The Rule of Law prevents dictatorship and protects the rights of the people. When leaders enforce the legal code honestly, even on themselves and their friends, others will follow suit.  Culture is also a major source of the principles behind many laws, as people tend to trust the ideas based on social habits.

Decision making is a vital component of any success. Decisions based on a foundation of knowledge and sound reasoning can lead the society into long-term prosperity; conversely, decisions made on the basis of flawed logic, emotionalism, or incomplete information. All administrators recognize the painful necessity of choice. Furthermore, making these choices must be done in a timely fashion, for as most people recognize, indecision is in essence a choice in and of itself—a choice to take no action. Ultimately, any success is the quality of decisions and their implementation. Good decisions mean good business.

The concept of decision making has a long history; choosing among alternatives has always been a part of life. But sustained research attention to business decision making has enveloped only in recent years. Contemporary advances in the field include progress in such elements of decision making as the problem context; the processes of problem finding, problem solving, and legitimating; and procedural and technical aids

Attention must be paid to problem scope as per national level. Problems of large scope need to be dealt with by top levels of the country. Similarly, problems of smaller scope can be handled by lower levels. This is a failing of many organizations, large and small. Typically, top level groups spend much too much time deciding low-level, low-impact problems, while issues of high importance and organizational impact linger on without being addressed or resolved.Whatever decision making process is utilized, those involved in making the decision need to make sure that a response has actually been arrived at.

Use Logical Techniques. Decision making is a simple process when approached in a logical and purposeful manner. Evaluate decisions and decision making patterns. Evaluation tends to focus the attention, and make individuals and teams more sensitive to what they are actually doing in their decision making tasks.Determine appropriate levels of decision making. Executives need to make sure that operational decisions are being made at the right level. Keys to avoiding micromanagement and other decision making pitfalls include: giving problems their proper level of importance and context; addressing problems in an appropriate time frame; and establishing and shifting decision criteria in accordance with business goals. In conclusion,  the clue of bad decision making, it ends with reversing or alternative decision making like the one presently announced by Somali-land interior minister with regard a road bill previously planned by our finance minster that generated water crisis for 70 % of Hargeisa population.
