Somaliland: Unkown Assailants Attack Local Journalist in Burao

BURAO-An unidentified group of people, with sticks  had attacked Ahmed Muse Sakaaro who is the chiarman of Somaliland newspaper “Afka Codka Shacabka” today while in Burao. The paper is published in Hargeisa, Somaliland capital.

He was threatened through the phone just moments before he was attacked by the unknown assialants.

It is not yet known the motive behind the beating of the local jouranlist.

He sustained injuries over the head .

Police set to launch an immediate investgation into the incident.

Jouranlists are targeted by government officials who cliam that they have scathingly wrote reports via the media.
