Somaliland tightens security

HARGEISA— Somaliland authority has announced measures aimed at introducing to tightened security at key crossings on its border in the country.

President of Somaliland has formed a committee tasked to the smooth trade, security and immigration with all neighboring countries.

Immigration authorities in Somaliland has stated that due to the new year and the hostile Horn of Africa created the need to reinforce country’s security.

The immigration authority went on to say that it will not allow that individuals without travel document cannot fly out or enter the country.

The immigration has added that Somali citizens traveling with valid document can arrive in Somaliland.

The outlawed terrorism organization that fights in South Somalia sent warning security threats to Somaliland accusing that its leaders have banned the teachings of Islamic books in Somaliland.
